Biography 

 

Sara Corenstein Woldenberg (Monterrey Nuevo León, Mexico, 1950).

 

She graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Israel with Bachelors degrees in Art and Theater History in 1971.

 

She began painting close to the Spanish master José Enrique Rebolledo. Afterward, she came in the textile world with the teacher Helga Freund. She has more than 30 years working in this discipline. She has acquired different techniques through self-study, and also through taking numerous workshops.

She has approximately 11 solo and 26 group exhibitions. She has received several awards and distinctions, such as the International Contest of Art of New York with an honorific mention. Currently, she lives between Mexico and Oaxaca City.
